Technology Manager, Server support & Deployment

IT Shared Services is a Johnson & Johnson Corporate department. You have more than a thousand colleagues worldwide who work with you daily to assist Johnson & Johnson in developing, producing , distributing and marketing innovative health care products, with the help of a well oiled IT platform. Together with a few colleagues in 3 continents, you are responsible for the daily management and the evolution of server landscape that is supporting applications that are used by our lab's and developers, our production plants and warehouses, our quality agents, or financial services, etc. to make Johnson & Johnson a true world leader in the healthcare industry.
Apart from the operational responsibilities over systems, you will also be involved in the financial management of these systems and you will work together with offshore partners in India who are, with you, responsible for delivery of quality services via these systems.
We are talking specifically about:
- Support of incident support processes across our server environment.
- Ongoing management of system Engineers across Windows, Linux and Unix platforms.
- Participation in Critical Response Team process to ensure that critical servers are returned to service as quickly as possible.
- Partnering with Regional and Global teams to ensure the deployment of compliant, supportable solutions.

As for language skills you need to be proficient in English (Speak, read, write, present)
The work mainly happens during office hours but we do expect some flexibility since you work in a global organization who delivers operational IT services 24x7.
Preferred location for this position is Belgium, Beerse.
