Pre-sales / Technical Account manager

To support the expansion of our company, we are seeking a motivated, hard working, reliable individual who brings a positive attitude to the work place. This enthusiastic and skilled team player will work with our Senior Account Manager to manage and develop our partners individually and as a whole across Europe.
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will be part of our Revenue Management Team in Lochristi. The goal of this team is to train our partners on how to resell and implement our Managed Services Solutions. The TAM will take complete ownership of the technical aspects our partners deal with when implementing and managing our solutions. He will take initiatives and perform presales activities to drive the business of our partners and cross develop our portfolio.
Responsibilities* Guides partners through the technical aspects of any of our products * Conducts product demonstrations and training * Must be able to understand partners technical and business requirements * Reports to the Channel Sales Director on partner success and any issues concerning * Create a close relationship with partners to ensure they experience a smooth partnership and move forward. * Host group trainings to all evaluation partners on each solution. * Work with Marketing, Product Management and Business Development Reps to grow teams and design marketing ideas. * Work independently to perform other duties assigned by management. * Be a Team Player. * Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences. * Become partner’s trusted technical advisor and subject-matter expert. * Follow up on partner issues and coordinate efforts with our 600 engineers Operations Center in India * Continually stay up-to-date on industry trends and market competition.
Profile* Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, IT or equivalent industry experience. * Must have experience with Information Technology in business mechanisms, virtualizations, backup, cloud computing and data centers. * Must have a in depth understanding of a small to medium sized networks which include desktops, servers, network devices, ISP connectivity, LAN infrastructure, etc… * Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Products (Exchange, SQL, Terminal Server, Windows 2000/2003, DNS, Active Directory, backup software). * Exceptional customer service and communication skills along with strong interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills. * Must be results oriented with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. * Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment. * Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work as part of a team. * Working with backup and disaster recovery, and remote management & network monitoring tools * Fluency in Dutch, English and French * Some sales experience is a PLUS.
