Job description
You will work in a small team, under the supervision of a senior software architect on Nebula, our renowned medical multimedia recorder. Your main responsibility is the translation of a software architecture into reusable and testable C++ code. Although your work primarily targets the windows operating system, your code should be easily portable to UNIX and Linux. You will both work on interfaces and the video-processing engine.
During daily scrum meetings, you report your progress directly to the project manager.

Profile
You hold a bachelor’s or masters degree in informatics or computer science.

You have at least three years of relevant experience.

C++ is your second language.

You have an in depth knowledge of the win32 API and know your way around the posix API.

You are flexible in switching your daily work-environment from windows to Linux and vice verse.

You are an expert in at least one C++ GUI toolkit.

You understand digital video.

You have a good understanding of tcp/ip networking.

You have a basic understanding of SQL databases and database administration.

Graphical skills are not required but are certainly an asset.
